my kind of thriller.
i love watching Wall Street films. all the talk about millions of money just gives me an adrenaline rush! also, men in suits. no wait scratch that - HANDSOME men in suits *drool* :D i do not wish to be a stock broker in real life but i absofreakinlutely love watching movies about it. Boiler Room for one, is an easy favorite ;p
so i just finished watching Margin Call, the credits is literally crawling on screen right now, and it’s definitely a movie i will recommend to all my guy friends (unfortunately none of the other ladies in my barkada shares my fascination with Wall Street). it’s a well paced high-stakes film that just had me at the edge of my seat. i was gripped by the tension within the first ten minutes of the film. just goes to show that a movie doesn’t need to be action-packed or horrific to capture my attention.
“fuck me” was something the characters kept saying to emphasize how screwed they were and really, there were no better words to illustrate their mindset. if you’ve been in a “fuck me” situation, you would know what i mean.
